Built for the People Who Actually Do the Work
Owner relations teams at energy companies face an impossible challenge: thousands of mineral rights owners who expect personal service, limited staff to answer calls and emails, and legacy systems that don't talk to each other. We built Firm App because we believed there had to be a better way.
The Problem Nobody Was Solving
Talk to any owner relations manager, and you'll hear the same story. Their team is drowning in phone calls asking questions that have easy answers - if only the caller could find them. Meanwhile, complex issues that need real expertise get pushed to the back of the queue because everyone's busy answering "when will I get my check?"
Overflowing Inboxes
Shared email folders with hundreds of unread messages. No way to know what's been handled. Important requests buried under routine questions.
Phones That Never Stop
Every call feels urgent to the person calling. But most are asking questions that could be answered by a website - if the website were actually useful.
Systems That Don't Connect
Land management in one system, accounting in another, documents scattered everywhere. Answering a simple question requires checking four different places.
What We Built Instead
Firm App started with a simple insight: most questions owners ask have knowable answers. "When's my next payment?" has a date. "What's my decimal interest?" is in a database somewhere. "How do I update my address?" has a process.
The problem wasn't that these questions were hard - it was that getting the answer required a human to look it up. So we built AI that could do the looking up instead.
Not AI that makes things up. Not a chatbot that just says "let me transfer you to a representative." Real AI that understands owner questions, retrieves accurate information from your systems, and gives useful answers. When it doesn't know something, it says so and creates a ticket for your team.
Then we built everything else you need to run owner relations well: ticket tracking, workflow automation, an owner portal, mobile apps, forms and signatures, multi-channel communication. All designed to work together, so your team spends time on work that matters.
What Happens When It Works
Payment status, document requests, basic account information - AI handles them accurately, 24/7, without anyone waiting on hold.
Every email, call, and form submission becomes a ticket. Nothing gets lost in a shared inbox or forgotten after a phone call.
Automated workflows handle ownership changes, address updates, and common processes so your team works on exceptions, not routine.
By the Numbers
What We Believe
Owners Deserve Good Service
The people your company serves - landowners, mineral rights holders, royalty recipients - have entrusted you with something valuable. They deserve responsive, accurate, professional service. Technology should make that possible at scale, not replace the human connection.
Simplicity Over Complexity
Enterprise software has a reputation for being complicated and hard to use. We believe complex problems don't require complex interfaces. Every feature we build gets tested against one question: can someone figure this out without reading a manual?
Security Is Foundational
Owner data includes social security numbers, banking information, legal documents. We treat security as the foundation, not a feature. SOC 2 Type II certified, penetration tested, encrypted at rest and in transit, with role-based access controls that actually work.
Continuous Improvement
The platform gets better every week. We ship improvements constantly, respond to customer feedback, and invest heavily in making the product work better for everyone. If something isn't working, we fix it - fast.
Built for Owner Relations
We don't build generic software and hope it fits. Firm App is purpose-built for energy companies with owner relations teams who need to:
